SRI Group develops and deploys applied AI systems, including systems powered by machine learning and large language models (LLMs). The Client acknowledges and agrees to the following:
AI systems generate outputs based on statistical inference and probabilistic modeling. Outputs may be incomplete, may contain inaccuracies, may reflect outdated or partial information, and may produce unexpected results. AI systems do not possess independent reasoning or factual certainty. All outputs must be reviewed and validated before being relied upon in operational, legal, financial, medical or safety-critical contexts.
AI systems provided by SRI Group are designed to assist and augment human decision-making. They are not a replacement for professional judgment, legal advice, regulatory compliance review, or safety-critical decisions. The Client remains responsible for oversight, supervision and final decision authority.
System performance depends on quality of input data, completeness of internal documentation, accuracy of configuration, and proper integration into workflows. SRI Group does not guarantee specific outcomes where data quality is insufficient.
AI systems may experience performance drift over time, changes in behavior due to system updates, and variability based on context and usage. Ongoing monitoring and optimization may be required.
Where third-party AI providers (e.g., LLM APIs or cloud infrastructure) are used, their availability, policies and technical behavior may change, service interruptions may occur, and model updates may alter output behavior. SRI Group is not responsible for changes made by third-party providers outside its control.
AI systems may reflect biases present in training data or input data. SRI Group applies reasonable mitigation strategies but cannot guarantee the complete elimination of bias. Client is responsible for ethical governance within its organization.
Client remains responsible for ensuring that deployment and use of AI systems complies with GDPR, Belgian data protection law, sector-specific regulations, and the EU AI Act (where applicable). SRI Group provides technical systems, not regulatory certification.
SRI Group shall not be liable for damages arising from reliance on AI-generated outputs, automated decision-making without human oversight, misconfiguration by the Client, or improper use of the system.
